The most prolific batsman in Australian Test history, Ponting holds the record for the most Test wins as a player and captain; is second on the all-time list of run scorers in international cricket (all forms) behind Indian great Sachin Tendulkar, and second on the all-time run-scoring list for Test matches (also behind Tendulkar). Ponting is third in ODI run-scorers behind Tendulkar and Sanath Jayasuriya and has won Australian cricket’s most prestigious award, the Allan Border Medal, four times (2004, ‘06, ‘07 and ’09).

Ricky and his wife, Rianna, have raised over $10 million to combat children’s cancer and are tireless in their support of the Ponting Foundation – a charitable fund they formed in 2008 to assist children with cancer and their families through the cancer journey.
